Claritect / Our Team

We find what’s true
and make it undeniable.

We work with businesses that are ready to grow but stuck because their brand, website, or positioning doesn’t reflect what they actually do or who they are for.

What We Do

Claritect is a strategy-first brand and web design agency based in Phoenix. We find what’s true about a business, bring clarity to it, and build the tools that make it undeniable.

Customer Success Manager

Mae Maris Adaya

I’m Mae, the Customer Success Manager at Claritect. I guide you through discovery, then keep your project organized and moving from planning through delivery. I own the project management side of the work: keeping people aligned, connecting the right pieces, and making sure every update, timeline, and approval lives in writing, in one place, so nothing gets lost along the way. I’ve spent my career working directly with business owners and decision-makers, so I know what it feels like to be the one waiting on an answer, and I make sure you never are. What I’m best at is bringing structure to complexity and making sure everyone knows what needs to happen next. The projects I’m proudest of are the ones where a client starts with a lot of moving pieces and finishes with a clear path forward. Outside of work, I’m a parent to three kids who keep me grounded and constantly learning.

Pull Me In When

You need to flag a blocker, timelines are at risk, tasks need reprioritizing, or roles need coordinating.

Strategist

Cher Anonas

I’m Cher, the Strategist at Claritect. My job is to uncover the truth of your business: what it does best, whom it serves, and the problem it actually needs to solve, then turn that into clear positioning and a direction the whole engagement follows. I’ve spent nearly twenty years in brand strategy and communications, including eight running my own strategy practice advising founders, executives, and nonprofit leaders. I’m a business owner myself, so I know what it feels like to have a real need and struggle to name it. People bring me complicated situations because I find the problem beneath the one they first describe, and the projects I’m proudest of turned on exactly that. When we’re done, you’ll feel heard, and your business will make sense to the people it’s for. Outside work, I’m a Muay Thai enthusiast who trained at a camp for professional fighters in Thailand, and a football mom who has followed her daughters’ tournaments across four countries, good coffee close at hand.

Pull Me In When

Research, positioning, or the strategic brief is in scope, or a project is entering discovery.

Co-Founder & CEO

Takashi Sato

I’m Takashi Sato, co-founder and CEO of Claritect. I’m a serial entrepreneur: I’ve built companies of my own, including a brand strategy firm I co-founded and ran, and I spent nearly thirty years in visual brand storytelling for names like Fender, PXG, the PGA of America, and Banner Health. All of it taught me the same lesson: what makes a business work is clarity. When the economy tightens, businesses cut marketing first, because it feels like wasted money. I felt that too, inside my own companies. The problem is rarely the budget. It’s marketing built without strategy, or without truth. I founded Claritect to fix that. My job is to hold the vision: every business we work with gets clarity that solves real problems and moves them forward, not just a website that looks good. Our team delivers that standard on every engagement. I was born in Yokohama, and the ideas our team runs on, kaizen and poka-yoke, came with me.

Pull Me In When

High-level technical architecture decisions are needed, or infrastructure strategy is in scope.

Designer

Pau Lobina

I’m Pau, the Designer at Claritect. I build the visual language a brand lives in, then carry it through every surface it touches, from the first sketch to Figma design systems, interactive prototypes, brand manuals, and the documents that make a company feel like one coherent thing instead of a pile of separate files. I’ve spent twelve years in brand, web, and UX design, including four leading design for ActionCOACH, the global business coaching franchise, and five running my own design and print studio. My signature is layouts that guide the eye without anyone noticing, and color and type systems that hold up whether they’re on a business card or a homepage. The test every piece has to pass: does it hold together as one system? Outside of work I travel, pick up new languages, and collect aircraft models. Chasing how a place thinks or how a plane’s shape came to be is the same instinct I bring to design: finding the pattern underneath.

Pull Me In When

Visual design direction is needed, brand consistency questions arise, or design tokens need updating.

Engineer

Steven Madali

I’m Steven, the web engineer at Claritect. My job starts where design ends: I take a signed design and build it into a working site, then handle everything that keeps it running well after launch. That means deployment, performance, backend systems, and the integrations connecting your tools together. I build the infrastructure clients never see but always feel, from fast-loading pages to portals and automated workflows that move a project forward without someone chasing it down. What I’m known for is making systems talk to each other, whether that’s a form feeding a CRM or an approval step that used to take a person now running on its own. Every build I ship gets checked against one question: does this make the site faster, more reliable, or easier for someone to use? Technology only matters if it does that. Outside of work I’m a part-time musician. Building in code and in music come from the same place, and that mix is what I bring to the work.

Pull Me In When

A project enters the Build phase, technical feasibility questions arise, or a client asks something technical through the portal.
