Privacy & Legal.
What we collect, why we collect it, and the terms for using this site. Written in plain language, because a policy nobody reads protects nobody.
This site is operated by Claritect, LLC. This page covers how we handle the information you share with us and the legal terms that apply when you use claritect.co.
We collect what you give us, plus limited information about how the site is used.
We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not sell anything to you on this site. The information we hold comes from three places.
- Information you submit through our forms. The Brand Assessment form asks for your first name and email address. The contact form asks for your first name, last name, and email address, with company name and phone number optional, plus anything you write in the message field. We receive whatever you choose to enter.
- Correspondence. When you book a discovery call or email us, we keep that correspondence so we can respond and follow up.
- Standard technical data. Like most websites, the servers and services that deliver this site record routine technical information such as IP address, browser type, and the pages requested. This is used to keep the site running and secure, not to build a profile of you.
To reply, to follow up, and to send you relevant content.
We use the information you give us to:
- Follow up on your submission and respond to your questions.
- Schedule and conduct a discovery call when you request one.
- Send you a recurring email sequence about our process, our thinking, and our services.
- Keep the site secure and working as intended.
Marketing emails. Our forms tell you, at the point of submission, that submitting also adds you to our email sequence. Those emails cover our process, our thinking, and our services. Every one identifies itself as a commercial message, includes our mailing address, and carries a clear unsubscribe link. One click removes you, and we process unsubscribe requests within 10 business days. You can also email hello@claritect.co to be removed.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own advertising purposes.
A short list of service providers, named plainly.
To run the site and respond to you, we rely on a few outside services. Each one only receives what it needs to do its job.
- Form and email routing. When you submit a form, the details you enter (your name, company, message, and email address) pass through our own automation service (n8n) to Pipedrive, the customer relationship tool where your contact record is stored and follow-up is managed. Brand Assessment responses are also processed with an AI drafting tool (Anthropic’s Claude) to prepare our internal read of your answers, and a copy is emailed to our team. If you book a call, scheduling is handled by Calendly, which receives your name, email, and selected time.
- Email. When you reply to one of our emails or send an unsubscribe request, that message routes to our Google Workspace inbox, which stores it so we can respond and act on it.
- Web fonts. Typefaces are served directly from our own hosting. No third party receives your IP address in order to deliver them.
- Hosting. This site is hosted on Vercel, which processes standard server logs to deliver the site.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.
We measure how the site is used, and we tell you how.
We do not run advertising trackers, and we do not set marketing cookies.
Measurement runs on Vercel Web Analytics, a cookieless tool built into our hosting. It records aggregate traffic and page performance without setting cookies or identifying individual visitors. We use it to see which pages are useful, not to build a profile of you.
If we add a measurement tool that sets cookies, we will update this page and put a consent control in place before it goes live.
As long as it is useful, then no longer.
We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described on this page, including maintaining an active or prospective working relationship, meeting legal and recordkeeping obligations, and resolving disputes. In practice, contact records are kept for up to 24 months after our last exchange with you, and server logs for 30 days. If you ask us to delete your information, or you unsubscribe and have no open conversation with us, we remove it from our active systems.
You can see it, correct it, or have it removed.
At any time you can ask us to:
- Tell you what information we hold about you.
- Correct anything that is wrong.
- Delete your information from our systems, including your contact record in Pipedrive.
- Stop emailing you. Every marketing email we send includes an unsubscribe link. One click removes you from the list. We process all unsubscribe requests within 10 business days. After that point we will not send you further commercial emails, though we may retain your contact record unless you also request deletion.
Email hello@claritect.co with the request and we will act on it. Depending on where you live and the laws that apply to Claritect’s processing of your information, you may have additional privacy rights, including rights relating to access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection. We will honor applicable privacy rights as required by law.
We protect what we hold, within reason.
We take reasonable measures to protect the information we hold, and we limit who can access it. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise absolute security. We ask you not to send sensitive personal or financial details through the forms or by email.
This site is for businesses, not children.
Claritect sells to companies and the people who run them. The site is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
We are not responsible for where our links lead.
This site may link to other websites. Once you leave claritect.co, this policy no longer applies. We encourage you to read the privacy policy of any site you visit.
